The Boston Bruins will be losing a longstanding member of their franchise at the end of the 2017-2018 season.

Rancourt has been kicking off Bruins games at the TD Garden for 40 years with his spirited rendition of the national anthem.

The self-proclaimed opera singer, who is 78-years-old, held a small press conference, Wednesday, to break the news.

Rancourt and his patented "fist pump" will be missed by many, so take the opportunity during this season to see him perform one last time.
