Brockton Fatal Shooting Leads to Two Arrests
BROCKTON (WBSM) — Two men have been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in Brockton, and Massachusetts State Police are continuing their search for a third suspect.
On March 31 at approximately 2:17 a.m., Brockton Police received a 911 call for a report of a shooting inside a home on Hoover Avenue. Police found Sedrick Abreu, 27, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to Plymouth District Attorney Tim Cruz, state police sought and obtained an arrest warrant for the shooting suspect, Jeremiah Abreu, 20, who is the brother of the victim.
Police have already arrested and charged two suspects connected to the killing with accessory to the homicide. Sirick Amado, 24, and Antonio Dejesus, 26, were expected to be arraigned in Brockton District Court today.
The investigation is active and remains ongoing.
