Brighton Had a Silly Goose That Needed Her Gosling Rescued
Employees at the Brighton Marine Health Center spotted a goose and her nest of eggs on their roof and knew they had to do something.
Imagine you are sitting at work and you look out your window and see a goose on the roof, protecting her nest of eggs.
At first you might think it's adorable, and isn't mother nature just amazing? However, if you are a parent, this is quite literally your worst nightmare, especially when these goslings hatch and start trying to venture from the nest.
In a video recently posted by the New England Wildlife Center, a rescue mission to get this family of goslings to safety was underway.
We can understand why the mom thought the roof of this building to be a safe place to lay and incubate her babies. What she may not have thought of is what happens when they hatch and accidentally walk over to the edge?
Also, we don't think Mom was thinking ahead. How was she going to get her little ones to water?
I'm getting anxiety just thinking about it.

It is the season for baby geese to be born and so if you have been seeing geese and their goslings crossing the street recently, be sure to give them the right of way. They are just trying to get to water so Momma goose can to teach them to dabble in the water. "Dabble" is what Geese do in water to feed and bathe.
I know geese can be loud and sometimes aggressive, but I think can we agree that these little goslings are adorable when they waddle across the street with their mom.
