Bright and Athletic Shawn Needs a Loving Home [TUESDAY’S CHILD]

As a bright, athletic young man, 13-year-old Shawn spreads positivity everywhere he goes.

He is able to engage in conversations with both peers and adults. He loves football, baseball, basketball and lacrosse. He loves going on special outings with his peers, including an annual camping trip.

He has big aspirations to sign with the NFL in the future.

Shawn enjoys gaming and wants to become a streamer. He also can see himself dreaming up storylines for video games.

Shawn meets up with a mentor weekly at the library where he enjoys reading. He is particularly interested in manga, from which many popular anime titles originate. Shawn checks out over 13 different pieces of manga weekly.

He also understands that education is important, and wants to go to college or trade school. An eighth-grader, Shawn is a great student doing well in school settings and actively participating in his education.

Shawn feels that he is a great role model for others. He wants to help out, especially for any family with younger siblings. He considers himself responsible and mature for his age.

Legally freed, Shawn is available to any family including those with older children. He maintains communication with his biological family, which will be important as he adjusts to his new home.

Shawn feels strongly about two important needs. He wants his family to be understanding of him and his mental health and he wants strong communication.
