Another case of school vandalism in New Bedford, this time at Keith Middle School.

According to an email sent to School Committee members by Jason Defalco, the Chief Academic Officer, at least ten teens broke into the school Saturday night, vandalizing school property, tossing food around in the community room, leaving graffiti in the auditorium, and breaking video equipment.

The email goes on to say, Detectives and School Resource Officers are currently studying video footage to identify the vandals. The total cost of the damage has yet to be tallied.

Supt. Dr. Pia Durkin is away and is unavailable for comment.

Three high school seniors were charged in June after a break-in and vandalism incident at New Bedford High School.
