“Boston Finest” Officer Found Dead

 A police officer featured on Donnie Wahlberg's reality series "Boston Finest" has been found dead of a suspected suicide. 

The Boston Police Department would only say that it is investigating the circumstances of what they called "an unfortunate death" of a member of the department but a police source tells CNN signs suggest Officer Pat Rogers took his own life. 

TNT, the home network of "Boston Finest," issued a statement offering heartfelt condolences to family, friends and fellow officers."  Wahlberg also tweeted about the death, saying he was "deeply saddened." 

Rogers appeared on the first season of the Wahlberg-produced series, which follows the day-to-day operations of the Boston Police Department. (Metro Network Inc.)
