FALL RIVER — The body of the Berkley man that went missing following a fatal boating accident in Fall River has been recovered.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office reported on Sunday that multiple 911 reported a boat crash in which two males were ejected from the boat just after 5:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Hanoud, who owns the boat, was said to have been operating it at the time of the crash. The only other passenger on the boat, 42-year-old Brent Osborne, of Middleboro, was also ejected.  His body was discovered in the water by another boater and rushed back to shore at the Tipsy Seagull boat dock in Fall River.  He was then rushed to St. Anne’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:05 p.m.

An initial investigation had determined the boat hit a wave at a high-rate of speed, ejecting the two men.

A search was conducted by multiple local, state and federal agencies from Saturday night through Wednesday.
