Bay State Police Chiefs Oppose Question 3
The state's police chiefs have come out against a state ballot question to legalize medical marijuana. The Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association says Question 3 has too many loopholes allowing people who aren't really sick to obtain the drug. They also say pot is a gateway drug and point out it's still illegal under federal law. Director Wayne Sampson says legalizing marijuana sends the wrong message to a new generation of teenagers and children.
