I am a licensed attorney and real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Bridgewater State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law. Since graduating from law school and being sworn in to the Massachusetts Bar, I have operated a solo legal practice in New Bedford, The Law Office of Marcus D. Ferro. My practice handles a variety of legal matters with primary focus on OUI/Criminal Defense Law. As a realtor, I hang my broker’s license at Lanagan & Co. Inc., helping homeowners list their properties and prospective buyers find a property that best suits their needs. Politically, I have been active in the campaigns of several Democratic candidates seeking elected office at the municipal, state, and federal level. Most notably, I was the campaign manager for the successful election and re-election of New Bedford City Councilor Hugh Dunn. I also serve as an elected official on the Fairhaven Board of Public Works Commissioners. I began my radio career as a weekly contributor to The Chris McCarthy Show in 2018. Chris was looking for a younger and more left perspective to feature on his show. Since then, I have begun to open a dialogue with the WBSM listenership that I now continue on my own program, The Marcus Ferro Show, airing every Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
