Astronaut, alumnus Scott Tingle talks space at UMass Dartmouth
Astronaut Scott Tingle spoke about exploring space at his alma mater UMass Dartmouth Wednesday. Tingle said it remains to be seen whether a space race with a country such as China is on the horizon.
Tingle also said that nations should cooperate in space as a way of inspiring the entire human race.
Tingle has not yet flown in space, but hopes to receive a mission within five years.
