Arrest Made in Burger King Panhandler Robbery

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police detectives arrested Tanya Apostle, 31, of 275 Rivet St. Apt. 2E, New Bedford, Monday on charges of larceny from a person and on a warrant arrest.

She was charged in connection with the theft of an undetermined amount of money Wednesday, Sept. 6, from a customer at Burger King, 1383 Cove Road, New Bedford. The money was not recovered.

She was arrested at 10:42 a.m.
