“Many a small thing has been made large by the right kind of advertising.” - Mark Twain

Here at 1420 WBSM, we know a lot about advertising. That’s why we’re so excited to see what you guys come up with to tell people about Lemonade Day. Advertising is everything you do to tell customers about your business and product. What can you do to attract as many customers as possible to your stand?

Advertising incorporates your brand with messages about your business and product. Potential customers need to know where you are located, your hours of operation, and the price of your lemonade. People want to know who you are, what you are selling, and why your product is so special. The more people know about your business, the more you are likely to sell.

Here are a few ways to help you get the word out:

  1. Create a sign - Your logo should be included on the sign, and it should be large enough in order to be read from a distance.
  2. Distribute flyers - Include details about your business like your name, logo, and slogan. Tell everyone what is special about your product and if a portion of your profit is going to a charity.
  3. Ask friends and family for help - They can tell everyone they know about your lemonade business, either in person or on the internet. Social media is helpful because it can inform tons of people quickly. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are the most popular platforms.

Have fun and get creative. And don’t forget to create a website for your stand and put it on the map at Lemonadeday.org.
