Bright and Playful Aliyana, 10, Is Waiting for Her Forever Family

Aliyana, also known as Ali, is an active and curious girl. Her social workers describe her as "adorable, sweet, affectionate and highly intelligent." 

She loves to explore and would be happy to spend all day outside looking at bugs and plants. Her very favorite thing to do is play with water, whether in a pool, water table or even a puddle. 

Aliyana also enjoys pretend play such as feeding stuffed animals and putting them to bed. She will put Little People toys in the bus and drive it around while singing "Wheels on the Bus," and can also be heard belting out other songs such as "Baby Shark."

Ali is becoming more independent and has started choosing her own clothes in the morning. She is also working hard on her speech and language skills and has shown the ability to communicate in various ways.  She uses a combination of spoken language, gestures, pictures, and a communication app on her iPad to communicate with others. Aliyana enjoys learning new things and benefits from clear and consistent structure and routines. 

Ali will thrive in a sensory- and language-rich environment with lots of love and affection. A family must be prepared to advocate for her needs and to keep her connected to her siblings.
