Airport eating is getting better in the U.S.
A recent study by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine shows around three-fourths of the eateries on-site have at least one health-conscious item on the menu.
Denver International Airport took the top spot in the nation with nearly 90% of its restaurants offering healthy eating. It's closely followed b y Detroit and Chicago's O'Hare Airport.
In 2001, just over half of airport restaurants gave hungry travelers a low-calorie option.
