A new non-profit organization in New Bedford is advocating for changes in early childhood education.

New Bedford Children began operations in March. Its founder, Marissa Fay-Martin, has studied and worked in early childhood education settings and wants to share the techniques she's learned in Italy and Colorado with childcare providers, parents and educators here.

New Bedford Children is currently meeting with parents, educators and providers through Zoom and sharing new ideas about early childhood education. The agency is also campaigning to have local businesses support their programs.
