If you still haven't planned your summer getaway, CheapHotels.com did a survey recently and found six out of the ten most expensive destinations in the U.S. are on the east coast and the north east. The rankings are based on the average of the least expensive price for a double room at hotels with at least a two star rating.

  1. Provincetown, MA ($217)
  2. Cape May, NJ ($204)
  3. Martha's Vineyard, MA ($202)
  4. Santa Monica, CA ($199)
  5. Old Orchard Beach, ME ($192)
  6. Calistoga, CA ($186)
  7. Kennebunkport, ME ($183)
  8. Ogunquit, ME  ($183)
  9. Poipu, HI  ($176)
  10. Boston, MA ($175)

WBSM morning co-host Neal White is heading to Ogunquit next week. We hope his credit rating is good!
