3rd Cape Cod Bridge Considered

State officials are considering building a new bridge across the Cape Cod Canal. It would be next to the existing Sagamore Bridge, and each would carry traffic one-way. The proposal is a response to the major backups that occur on the highways to and from Cape Cod. Electronic tolls would pay for the project.
