Health researchers are about to launch a study to learn whether dark chocolate really protects your heart. Scientists at Boston's Brigham and Women's Hospital will lead the clinical trial. The chocolate industry is putting up 20-million dollars to test whether cocoa flavanols can cut down on heart attacks, strokes, and heart disease deaths.

The five-year study will test 18-thousand healthy people across the U.S.
