The Massachusetts State Lottery has paid out $15 million for an instant scratch ticket win, but the ticket was not sold in Fairhaven.

The payout on the $30 "World Class Millions" instant game was presented to the BWE Nominee Trust of Marblehead, for a winning ticket that was sold in Salem. The trust, which derived its name from the abbreviation of "Best Week Ever", chose the $9.75 million cash option.

It's one of four $15 million grand prizes generated from the ticket.

But rumors still swirl over a winning ticket reportedly sold at the Valero Gas Station on Route 6 in Fairhaven. The owner claims a regular customer in his 30's bought the $30 ticket, and won.

So far, the Massachusetts State Lottery says nobody has stepped forward to claim that prize.
