The civilian Wrentham police dispatcher who handled the initial call in the deadly dragging of a 58-year-old motel employee, has been placed on administrative leave.

The veteran dispatcher never sent a police car to the Arbor Inn Motel for an unpaid bill dispute until she received the 911 call eight minutes after the first call.

Lieutenant Detective Bill McGrath says he thinks it was an unintentional error.
