NEW BEDFORD - Police arrest a New Bedford woman after she refused to remove herself from railroad tracks in the North End.

Police witnessed the woman by the tracks behind 53 Church Street at about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Police asked the woman to leave, since trespassing on railroad tracks is prohibited.

The woman refused to leave, and struggled with police.

Officers arrested the woman, Dominique Ward, 23, of 13 Rodney French Boulevard, Apt. 2, New Bedford, and charged her with resisting arrest and walking/standing on a railroad track.
