Woman Reports Being Robbed of Cash in New Bedford’s North End

NEW BEDFORD - Police are investigating after a woman claimed she was robbed of cash in New Bedford's North End on Monday.

The woman told police that an envelope containing cash that she was holding while outside of 181 Earle Street was taken from her.

Police did not provide a description of the suspect, including gender, skin color, or age range.

New Bedford Police say they are investigating and expect charges to be filed in the case.
