Forecasters are predicting anywhere from 6-12" of snow for Southeastern Massachusetts Saturday into Sunday.

New Bedford's snow removal guru, DPI Commissioner Ron Labelle tells WBSM News the City is once again adequately prepared for another big storm.

Labelle says his department has been given permission to use the former Goodyear site in the South End as another snow dumping ground, in addition to the Whale's Tooth Parking Lot, the former Elco Dress factory site, and Fort Taber.

City drivers have been treating city streets with salt all week long to prevent icy conditions, and will continue to apply salt and sand throughout the weekend.
