Sen. Elizabeth Warren is on the shortlist of running mates for former Vice President Joe Biden. She is the only white person on the public list of candidates.

The color of a person's skin is extremely important in the Democratic Party these days. It is almost as important as a person's gender among Democrats. When Biden declared he would select a woman as his running mate, he narrowed his pool of candidates.

His declaration that gender was the superior qualification instantly made Black males persona non grata. Former Gov. Deval Patrick, Gen. Colin Powell, and former Attorney General Eric Holder need not apply for the job, despite their qualifications. Under the Biden rules, Barack Obama is unqualified to be his running mate.

So now we have one white female in the mix – although she isn't a white person, according to her earlier stories. Sen. Elizabeth Warren has claimed for years she is a person of color because she is a Native American. She allowed herself to be used by Harvard as an example of their diversity hiring when Black lawyers and students claimed the school didn't hire enough minorities.

Senator Warren used the rules to help herself when she claimed to be a person of color. She clearly isn't a person of color and she has the genetic test to prove it. She was hoping to use the new Biden rule on gender to leverage herself into the position of vice president. She was close until George Floyd died.

How can Joe Biden now select a privileged woman who pretended to be a person of color to be his running mate?

He can't.
