“Whiplash” At Flagship Cinemas

The Oscar nominated film "Whiplash" will begin a special week long run Friday at Flagship Cinemas in New Bedford.

Nate Lang, son of former New Bedford Mayor Scott Lang, has a prominent role in the film.

Speaking with WBSM's Phil Paleologos, Lang says he's been involved in the project since it was a short film that won at the Sundance Film Festival.

The first screening of "Whiplash" at Flagship Cinemas begins Friday at 1:20 p.m.
