What’s the Most Dangerous Shoe To Wear While Driving?

A British study finds that flip flops are the most dangerous shoe to drive in, even more so than high heels.

Researchers studied more than 1,000 motorists and found that one-third admitted to driving with flip flops, and 27% admitted wearing flip flops had caused them to have a problem and 7% saying they actually caused them to have an accident.

36% of women said they drive in inappropriate footwear and 20% said they continue to wear the footwear while driving even if they almost got into an accident while wearing it.
