Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! It's the best day of the week. There are hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast up for adoption, patiently waiting for their chance at a forever home. With the help of local shelters, we share their stories in hopes of finding the perfect families.

This week, we head to Fairhaven Animal Shelter in Fairhaven where a 9-month-old Husky is wagging his tail and waiting for you.

Meet Spark.

Spark is full of energy and love. He has heterochromia, meaning he has two different-colored eyes, and it makes him twice as cute.

He loves other dogs, but he tends to play a little rough. Huskies never seem to know how big they actually are.

The shelter recommends that Spark's forever family have no young children due to the dog's size. A fenced-in yard is a must. Spark will need some house training to deal with his "zoomies" and puppy-like behavior.

Spark was just neutered and he is updated on all his vaccines. All that's left to do is find him the perfect family.

Does Spark sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Fairhaven Animal Shelter, like them on Facebook, and schedule a play date today.

Spark can't wait to meet you.

If SouthCoast Dogs Had a Dating App, It Would Look Something Like This

August 26 is International Dog Day, and it got me thinking. What if there was a way for dogs to connect with other dogs in the area to make new friends? Or maybe even find love? Twenty-six dogs living on the SouthCoast sent me their profile picture and bio. Let's see the eligible pups.
