Fall River Dog Hopes a Family Will Fall in Love With Her [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Happy Wet Nose Wednesday. Let's talk animals.
Hundreds of animals are up for adoption on the SouthCoast, and thanks to local shelters, these animals are taken care of.
But they shouldn't have to spend the rest of their lives in a shelter.
Every week, we spotlight one animal in hopes of uniting them with a forever family, and this week, we head to Fall River where an old girl is hoping to steal your heart.
Meet Riley, a 10-year-old Maltese mix at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.
Known as the "Vavó" of the shelter, Riley is known for her moody behavior.
"As much as we love Riley, she is the epitome of a cranky old lady unless she likes you," the shelter said. "She'll tell you off, she'll grumble, she'll give you dirty looks, she'll essentially make you feel guilty for doing something that you weren't even aware you did."
However, if she loves you, get ready to be bombarded with kisses and cuddles.
She is smart and curious, loves other pets and is a dream on a leash.
Riley likes to be the center of attention, so if you are willing to help her learn a few manners, you will have the most loving dog to come home to every day.
