New Bedford Dog Hopes to Brighten Forever Home With Her Goofy Personality [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]

Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! It's time to find another beautiful animal the perfect home.

Thanks to the loving shelters on the SouthCoast, we get a chance to share the stories of hundreds of animals that are patiently waiting for a family. This week, we head to New Bedford where a young, goofy dog is waiting to make someone smile.

Meet Mazzie, a 2-year-old, female lab mix under the care of Lighthouse Animal Shelter in New Bedford, and she has become known for her beautiful looks and goofy personality.

"Mazzie loves hanging out with her dog friends outdoors and is obsessed with splashing around in the doggie pool," the shelter said. 

Mazzie is an active pup and is looking for a forever family to join her on all sorts of fun adventures. She even knows how to sit and is eager to learn more. She loves making new friends, she's dog friendly, and the shelter is open to testing her with cats. 

Loud noises are a little scary for Mazzie, but as she gets more comfortable with her surroundings, she'll be ready for big adventures.

While she may be a bit much for little kiddos, teens are more than welcome to join in on the fun.
