New Bedford Dog Is a Bundle of Love Looking for a Family [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! Let's talk animals.
We all love animals, and some of them need our help. If you are considering a new pet for your family, please consider adoption.
There are hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast waiting for a forever family. Thanks to local shelters, they have a fighting chance.
Each week, we give the spotlight to one lucky animal, and this week, we head to New Bedford where a young retriever hopes to steal your heart.
Meet Kobe. Kobe is a 2-year-old, 49-pound male retriever mix currently residing at Lighthouse Animal Shelter in New Bedford.
Kobe loves a lot of things but nothing beats his blankie.
"Every time we let him out in the play yard, he wags his tail and bum, and happily grabs his blanket from his room, ears pinned all the way back in true, fulfilled joy, and brings it outside to show all the volunteers," said the shelter.

All Kobe wants to do is play. He is a big love bug that enjoys running around with his friends in the yard and snuggling up to all the volunteers.
He is a happy-go-lucky pup that would bring joy to any house hold.
The shelter's only request is that the home has no cats.
Does Kobe sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Lighthouse Animal Shelter and schedule a playdate today.
Kobe cannot wait to meet you.
