Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! It's the day we get to talk about animals that need our help.
Hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast are patiently waiting to find their forever homes. With the help of local shelters, we shine a spotlight on one lucky animal each week to share its story.
This week, we head to Fall River where a shepherd mix is wagging its tag with excitement.

Meet Katrin, a 1-year-old shepherd mix at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River. She may be a little nervous at first, but she is very sweet and quick to give out kisses and cuddles.
This sweet girl has a lot of energy, a quality that's common in most shepherds.
"She does everything at her own speed, the speed of light," the shelter joked. "She even eats fast, so you may need to invest in a slow feeder bowl for this gal."
Katrin does well with cats, mainly because she pays them no mind, and she does well with older children. If there are other dogs in the home, she should meet them before finalizing her adoption.
Katrin loves to play fetch, and you should fully expect her to try and climb into your lap for some love.
Does Katrin sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Forever Paws Animal Shelter and schedule a play date today.
