Details of the Easton Multi-Vehicle Crash

At about 9:30 a.m., Easton Police received 911 calls reporting a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 138 and Route 106. First responders arrived to find that four vehicles were involved.

According to the D.A.’s Office, a 2006 Hyundai Azera, driven by a 34-year-old woman, sideswiped a 2019 Hyundai Kona as it was traveling north on Route 138 and was approaching the intersection of Route 106. The Azera then rear-ended a 2009 Honda Civic, causing catastrophic damage and also thrusting the Civic into the rear of a 2016 Toyota RAV4.

The 50-year-old woman that was driving the Civic was taken to a Boston medical facility in critical condition. The drivers of the Azera and the RAV4 were both taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Their identities were not released.

The crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the D.A.’s Office as well as Easton Police.
