West End Shooting Under Investigation

New Bedford Police are investigating a shooting incident at Ocean and Arnold Streets Tuesday afternoon.

Police Chief David Provencher says the incident was reported around 1:30pm.

Officers recovered eight shell casings on the street, but there were no reports of property damage or any injuries. Detectives continue to investigate.
