Candidate for State Senate Jacob Ventura stopped by WBSM on Monday to chat with Chris McCarthy about a number of issues facing the Commonwealth and in particular the Bristol and Norfolk District he wishes to represent.

Ventura, an attorney from Attleboro, won the Republican primary to contend for the seat vacated by James Timilty last year, but lost in the general election to Sen. Paul Feeney, the Democratic challenger.

In addition to discussing his views, Ventura also talks about his background and his political experience.

Ventura was born in New Bedford and graduated from Dartmouth High School in 2005. He graduated from UMass Dartmouth with a bachelor's degree in finance, before going on to earn his law degree.
