Duane "Ace" Allen, who has been with the legendary music group The Oak Ridge Boys for 52 years, joined Phil Paleologos on WBSM to discuss the group's upcoming show at the Zeiterion Theatre on March 24.

The Oak Ridge Boys, with their blend of country and gospel, have sold over 41 million units worldwide, and are enshrined in the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. Although their biggest it is arguably the very catch "Elvira," they also have a new single out, "Brand New Star," off their forthcoming album 17th Avenue Revival.

Phil spun a bit of the new tune and also harkened back to his days as a youngster in Hot Springs, Arkansas...with "Ace" not that far from him in Paris, Texas.

Allen also gave some insight into his beginnings with the Oak Ridge Boys, and how music has helped him hopefully make the world a better place.
