There will be a vigil held in New Bedford in remembrance of the victims of the early Sunday morning attack at the Pulse Night Club in Orlando, Fla.

WBSM's Barry Richard confirmed on the Phil Paleologos Show that a candlelight vigil will take place Tuesday night in front New Bedford City Hall from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Those who attend are being asked to bring signs showing what community they are from with perhaps a message from that community.

"It's all in unity to show the folks in Orlando that we support them and that our heart breaks along with them," said Richard "and we'll be there in numbers to support them."

The candlelight vigil is being put together by WBSM, FUN 107, New Bedford Guide, Mayor Jon Mitchell's Office, New Bedford Standard Times, and the Southcoast LGBTQ Network.
