FALL RIVER — Fall River Police this week were on the lookout for a man and woman wanted for allegedly causing a baby to overdose on drugs, and today they announced that the suspects were in custody.

Kevin Baker, 39, and Lynne Servant, 35, both of Fall River, were arrested earlier today without incident, the police department announced, while adding that no further comment will be made at this time because the investigation is still ongoing.

Yesterday police asked for the public’s help in locating two people. They said they were searching for Baker and Servant, who were the subjects of warrants charging each of them with one count of permitting injury to a child.

The charge stems from an incident in which an 11-month-old child overdosed on fentanyl. According to police, the child was hospitalized and listed in stable condition.

The Fall River Police Department thanked the public for their help.
