UPDATE: Acushnet Woman Charged After Leaving Infant Unattended in Car

New Bedford Police are charging a 20-year-old Acushnet woman after an investigation of a video posted on Facebook.

Police say 20-year-old Breanna MaGrath of Acushnet will be charged with reckless endangerment of a chuld under the age of 18.

MaGrath was shown on video returning to her vehicle after leaving a baby in the backseat of the car for several minutes. The video was taken at the Gas Express on Tarkiln Hill Road in New Bedford sometime Thursday afternoon.

The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families has been notified of the video and the charge against MaGrath, and they are expected to conduct their own investigation.
