United Way of Greater New Bedford’s Mobile Market just launched its fifth season on July 9 in New Bedford. Mobile Market provides free, locally grown, fresh produce to low-income working families in Greater New Bedford. This year, in addition to its two locations in New Bedford, Mobile Market is expanding to Wareham to serve more residents. The Mobile Market’s primary focus is to remove the barriers that families often face when accessing fresh produce. All markets are held from 5:30-7 pm and will be available at each site every other week.

Distribution will take place at the following locations:
BankFive located at 1724 Acushnet Ave in New Bedford on Tuesdays (see schedule)
Faded Image located at 24 Sandwich Road in Wareham on Tuesdays (see schedule)
BankFive located at 160 County St. in New Bedford on Thursdays (see schedule)
