The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says two New Bedford teenagers were indicted this week for the murder of city cab driver Donald DePina in November, 2015.

Prosecutors say 18 year old Alexander Mills and 16 year old Cameron McCarthy gunned down DePina after the cab driver had brought them from Purchase Street to Brooklawn Park in his Bluebird cab.

Police say DePina was shot twice and prosecutors have identified Mills as the shooter. Police say the teens then stole DePina's credit cards and made several purchases at nearby locations.

D-A spokesman Gregg Miliote says McCarthy will be arraigned on the murder charge on March 11th in Fall River Superior Court. No date has been set for the Mills arraignment.

DePina served in Vietnam and was the City of New Bedford's Veterans Agent during the Fred Kalisz Administration.
