Two Local Car Wash Fundraisers

It's time to shine, and the residents of Southeastern Massachusetts Veterans Housing Program, Inc. (Veterans Transition House) invite you to a hand car wash on Saturday June 24th, 2017 from 9 am to 2 pm at the Veterans Transition House, 20 Willis Street, New Bedford, MA. Each car will be a $5 donation. Proceeds will go the residents’ fund, which allows residents to participate in community events. The Veterans Transition House is local nonprofit which provides south coast veterans with transitional housing and supportive services.

Also, a car wash to benefit Mercy Meals and More breakfast program is taking place Saturday, 6/24, near Gary's Best Hot Dogs, 958 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, between 9 am and 2 pm. Mercy Meals and More is a non-profit program that provides a nutritious beginning to the day for people in need.
