NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford man is arrested following an incident with a knife in the city's South End Saturday morning.

New Bedford Police responded at approximately 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 to the 30-block of Rodney Street. Police say two victims at the scene did sustain cut wounds and were transported to a local medical facility. Their status is unknown at this time.

Police arrested 25-year-old James White of 27 Rodney Street in New Bedford on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife).
