Two Hour Delay Announced for New Bedford Schools

NEW BEDFORD — Due to plowable snow forecasted and the threat of hazardous travel during the morning commute, New Bedford Public Schools will open on a two-hour delay on Thursday, February 28, 2019.

Bus transportation will operate on a two-hour delayed schedule.

There will be no morning preschool. Afternoon preschool will open as scheduled. The Renaissance Community School is closed due to a pre-scheduled half-day.

Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School will also be operating on a two-hour delay on Thursday.
