Two Arrested On Drug Charges In South End

Two men have been arrested by New Bedford narcotics detectives Monday afternoon in the South End.

Detective Captain Steve Vicente says 26-year-old Curtis Dean Ferreira of Grinnell Street, and 27-year-old Julio Camacho of Emery Street were arrested after police saw both of them meeting wiith different people.

Police brought both men to the police station where they found a couple bags of marijuana, twenty bags of heroin, and under $100 in cash on Ferreira's person. Camacho was found to be in possession of crack-cocaine, and over $650 in cash.

Both face numerous drug charges.
