Two Arrested in New Bedford with Stolen Car

NEW BEDFORD — Police observed a vehicle at the intersection of Bullard Street and Belleville Avenue with two occupants that was determined to be stolen. The driver also did not have a valid license.

Police made two arrests:

Corrine Williams, 19, of Bay Street, Apt. 2. Taunton, on charges of receiving a stolen motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

John Fields, 32, of Tremont Street, Taunton, on charges of receiving a stolen motor vehicle.

The arrest was made at 5 a.m. Monday.
