Two Arrested for Recklessly Driving ATVs on New Bedford Streets
NEW BEDFORD — Two New Bedford men are arrested after riding ATVs recklessly down Acushnet Avenue early Monday.
At around 5:30 a.m. Monday, New Bedford Police arrested 18-year-old Rory Santos-Barros of Campbell Street and Teagan Dauphin-Potter of Tarkiln Hill road on charges of operating a recreational vehicle recklessly, after they were observed riding ATVs on Acushnet Avenue. When police attempted to stop them, the two fled, leading to additional charges of resisting arrest.
A third man, 21-year-old Tyrell Gamboa of Orchard Street in New Bedford, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
