The two occupants were identified by police as 33-year-old Roni Maocho of New Bedford and 35-year-old Stephanie Conigo of Dartmouth.

Both Maocho and Conigo were arrested and charged with possessing cocaine with intent to distribute, and possessing an open container of alcohol as well as a stun gun.

Conigo has previously been arrested in New Bedford on motor vehicle violations as part of a crime sweep in 2017.

No injuries were reported in the shooting.

An investigation into the gunshots is ongoing.
