Associated Press - The jury in the Boston Marathon bombing trial is getting a first-hand look at fragments from one of the pressure cooker bombs that exploded near the race's finish line in 2013.

Prosecutors also displayed shredded pieces of a backpack today they say Dzhokhar Tsarnaev used to carry the homemade bombs just prior to the blasts that killed three people and injured more than 260 others.

An FBI agent then testified about a piece of wire found in the debris on Boylston Street which she identified as part of a bomb detonator.

Tsarnaev's trial is now in a more technical phase as prosecutors show detailed evidence about the bombs.
