Tree Dedicated to New Bedford Suicide Victim

It's been two years since 12-year-old Clifford Rodrigues committed suicide. Young "CJ" had been suspended from school that day, and hanged himself in his grandmother's closet.

A tree was dedicated in CJ's memory Tuesday, and his mother Christina Duarte says since his death she is sometimes faced with her own demons.

Duarte says she is also seeking counseling. The maple tree planted at "Baby Kenny's Tot Lot" off Acushnet Avenue was donated by the City of New Bedford.
