Tree Cited As Cause Of Acushnet Outage

A Thursday morning power outage in Acushnet appears to have been caused by a tree.

Eversource Spokesman Mike Durand says the tree damaged a pole on a utility right-of-way off Main St. which led to the outage.

Now that they have pinpointed the cause Durand says he expects power to shortly be restored to all customers.
